Extech general purpose probes are available in a number of styles to cover a wide range of applications. Each probe includes a 39″ cable.
When ordering, consult product resources to ensure compatibility with your meter. Contact us if you should have any questions. If using with certain multimeters, a Type K to banana plug adapter may be required.
General Purpose Probes:
General purpose probes are suitable for air and liquid temperature measurement.
Model 871515: Type K probe, 4″ long, for temperature measurements from -40 to 1292°F.
Model 881605: Type K probe, 5.9″ long, for temperature measurements from -40 to 1472°F.
Model 801515: Type J probe, 4″ long, for temperature measurements from -40 to 842°F.
Bead Wire Probes:
Bead wire probes are suitable for air and surface temperature measurements (not liquids).
Model TP870: Type K probe, for temperature measurements from -40 to 482°F.
Model TP873: Type K probe, for temperature measurements from -22 to 572°F.
Model TP875: Type K with banana connector, for temperature measurements from -58 to 1000°F.
Model 872502: Type J probe, for temperature measurements from -40 to 392°F.
Penetration Probes:
Penetration probes are ideal for food service, liquids or gels.
Model TP882: Type K probe, 5.9″ long, for temperature measurements from -40 to 1000°F.
Model 881603: Type K immersion probe, 5.9″ long, for temperature measurements from -40 to 1472°F.
Surface Probes:
Surface probes are designed with a flat tip for making surface temperature measurements.
Model 881602: Type K probe, 5.7″ long, for temperature measurements from -40 to 932°F.
Model 881616: Magnetized Type K probe, 1″ x 0.75″ surface, 6′ Teflon cable, for temperature measurements from -40 to 482°F. Includes replacement element.
